We had a great time with family & friends at Scooter's Jungle for Sofia's 3rd birthday party. Everyone played, at pizza, enjoyed an awesome Snow White cake and apple shaped cake pops made by my friend Joe, and played some more. Sofia LOVED every moment of it, as you can tell from the pictures. As always, the big slide was a huge hit with kids and adults (Sofia can climb up all by herself now) and always enjoy the "all kids" picture at the end.
What a great day! Sofia was so excited that it was her birthday. We started the day serenading her when she came into our room. Then for daycare we sent a great cupcake cake and goody bags, and rented a Princess bouncy house. I got off early and picked up the girls, and we all went to IHOP for Sofia's birthday dinner. She picked it - but didn't really eat much. I think she was holding out for the ice cream we promised her (Cold Stone's). Very good thing this is our week off between workout programs so we were able to enjoy a bit ourselves. When we got home she had a blast opening all of her presents from us - and trying on a bunch of new dress up clothes. She still has a bunch of gifts from daycare friends to open tomorrow - and her party on Saturday. WOW our big girl is THREE. Just crazy!!
We had a good time getting Sofia's portraits done today. Wish we could've gotten more of the two girls together but after the family shots, Gabby was OVER IT! :) Sofia was her usual ham self. She tried to hold up 3 fingers but it looks more like a peace sign. And she started dancing at the end, and people walking by outside were stopping to watch her. She was cracking everyone up. Love the family pics at at the end - and Gabby even snuck in a solo pic!
Had fun this morning at a place called "The Playroom" for Jenna's 3rd birthday (Jenna is part of our mommy & me group that's been getting together since the kids were 6 weeks old!) So if Griffin, who Sofia is hugging below. Gabby was cruising all around, went in the ball pit, and enjoyed herself too!
