Gabby's First Swim

Today we had a fun swim and BBQ at the Gordons' house with our Mommy & Me friends. And yes it was Gabby's first swim! She really seemed to like the water, it was very similar to how Sofi was when she first went in a pool. Sofia hd fun swimming with her friends and her favorite part was the ice cream sandwich she ate while on Ben's swing. Yum!

Weekend Fun at Home

First up - Gabby tried out her new (hand-me-down) Activity Center. She really likes it. She can stay in there about 10 minutes. Helps her build up some leg strength. She doesn't really like to stand while being held or put weight on her legs so this will be good for her. Sofia seems to like playing with this thing more than Gabby :)
Today I was gone for part of the morning so Nel hung out with the girls and they took some cute pics - he gave Sofia a cute ponytail! And he taught her all of the character names of the Star Wars toys he bought her at Disneyland. Her favorite: Darth Vader. She thinks his name is "dun-dun-dun dunta-DA-dunta-DA" (as in his theme music).

Disneyland Day #3 // Father's Day

Today was our last day at Disneyland - even though we left around 1:30 (naptime) it still felt like we did a lot! Up first was the super fun Surf's Up Breakfast with Mickey & Friends at the hotel. Sofia got to meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Daisy and Stitch. She had no idea who Stitch was but he was so nice and kept coming back over, first she was like WTF is this thing?! Then she warmed up and high five'd him each time. She even wore her Minnie ears for about 2 minutes, long enough for a pic with Minnie. Then we went into Disneyland - Small World again, then Toon Town. We saw Minnie again (pics taken by the Disney photo people so will post when I get the CD) and we walked around Minnie's House. Then Nel took her to see Goofy's house and meet Goofy while I fed Gabby (Gabby and I stopped and got our pics taken on the way - photos to be posted later when I get the CD). Then we met Papa Steve and Grammy Sue for lunch - they were also at Disneyland today! Perfect since it's Father's Day! We rode Small World again, Gabby's second ride. Then it was time to head home. We had a great but exhausting weekend. Now that we have annual passes, we are already planning our next trip - 4th of July!!
