Beachbody Coach Summit

Busy June continues! We had a great time in Las Vegas for the Beachbody Coach Summit - Nelson and I are coaches for Beachbody, the fitness company that created P90x, Insanity and many other great workouts. We met a lot of the trainers, did live workouts, went to some training seminars and met a lot of our teammates who we've only known on Facebook. 5 days was a long to be in Vegas and away from the girls, but we learned a lot and it was really exciting to see how much growth there is going to be in this company. Ceremony at Daycare

Every summer, there is a recital at daycare to honor the kids who will be going into daycare in the fall. All of the kids participate and sing songs.  We've never been before, but Sofia is old enough to participate so we got to go and watch her sing, do the Pledge of Allegiance, and answer questions. (My favorites: "what do you want to be when you grow up?" "A Princess" and "who is your best friend?" "Mama") Gabby sat on my lap and watched too - she was so excited to see us show up in the middle of the day!

Today was Nelson's turn to go in with her - since it's Father's Day and all :)

As you can probably tell, she still doesn't like it. And these are the best of the photos - meaning the least upset and losing her @#$% photos !

Stanley Cup Parade

Today was the final event in this amazing Stanley Cup win.  We went downtown for the parade and rally with the Korts and Patty & Dustin. It was really a great day to celebrate!

We got our picture taken holding a "virtual Stanley Cup." 

**6/29 - Post-script, the real Cup made an appearance at Sony and I was able to get a picture!

Ths KINGS won the CUP!!

Tonight was AMAZING...a day I've waited for for about 18 years. I've been a die hard Kings fan since high school and today they won game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals and became the CHAMPIONS!! Holy moly - part of me still can't believe it. It was so great to be at the game with so many of our friends too. 

Weekend in Jew Jersey

We decided last minute to use our frequent flyer trips and hop on a plane to New Jersey to see game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals JUST IN CASE the Kings would win it.  Well they didn't - but we still had a lot of fun! We got Business Class (awesome, free booze and food, and comfy chairs, slept both ways), spent most of Saturday tooling around NYC with the Grays, then we headed to NJ for the game. It was a whirlwind. Tired but most of all hoping they win TOMORROW at home. Because we ARE not going back to New Jersey :)
