2010 Christmas Card & Photo Shoot

We took pictures on Sunday for our Christmas card - it's been really busy but we realized it's less than 2 weeks til Christmas! We decided that Sofia would be the star of the card this year. We took pictures with our tree and 2 really cute outfits. She did not disappoint, while she didn't last long, she gave us lots of "cheese" faces and showed us some super model poses. It was a tough choice but here is the final card plus some of the other photos that didn't make the card:

Tree Trimming

For the first time since I've been an adult out on my own, we bought a real tree! It's fairly small, probably 5 feet tall, but we figured since this is the first year that Sofia would start to kind of understand Christmas, it would be fun to go real. We ended up putting it in our room - because it's large enough to fit a tree and our living room isn't, and also because we can shut the door to keep Sofia away from it when we need to (and away from the presents under it). She liked looking at all of the ornaments, she stepped on a few candy canes, mostly she just liked handing me things to put on the tree. Tomorrow we'll hopefully get the rest of our holiday decorating done including Xmas lights!

Sofia's First Pedicure

Today I went for my regular mani pedi appointment while Sofia napped. When I got back, she kept looking at my fingers and toes and trying to figure out what I had on my nails. She particularly liked the red on my toes. She said "me! me!" and I said "do you want me to paint your toes?" and she said "yeah!" Then I told her to sit in her chair while I got the polish, she was sitting there waiting when I came back. We did a quick red polish and she thought it was pretty cool. Look how proud she looks of her toes!

Emma is 3 months old / James turns 30

We got to see them on Wednesday for James' 30th birthday. Sofia gave Emma kisses. She was really fascinated by the fish tank at Kathleen's house, she kept yelling "fishies" and insisting someone pick her up for a closer look.

Today Sofia wore pigtails and when we took them out - bam - crazy hair!! She also was trying to put her shoes on my feet, which didn't really work out :)
