Trying out Sofia's 2 New Goodies

Today Sofia had 2 new goodies that we tried out. The first is her push buggy. We saw a toddler with this at the zoo and Sofia walked over and tried to climb in. (The mom was very nice and said OK) It's basically a little car with a long handle behind it so we can push her down the street in it. We took a few laps, just like with her wagon, the faster the better! Speaking of her wagon, since it's getting hot, we bought a canopy that clips on and gives her (and "Teddie") some shade when we go out walking. Check out the pics.

Memorial Day BBQ

Today was a fun day! We had friends over for a BBQ and swim party. We had a whole bunch of water activities - kiddie pool, sprinkler "Waterpillar", water table, and we cooled the jacuzzi to 80 degrees. We grilled up brats and tri tip, and munched on fresh fruit. It was Sofia's first real time hanging out and playing with other kids. The Grays and Korts joined us.

Sofi's First Trip to the Zoo - with moms group

Today we went to the LA zoo with our mommy friends and most of the daddies joined us too. Lots of walking, it was a beautiful day. Not a ton of animals that the babies could see up close, but it was great to hang out as a group since it's been a while. Sofi just stopped taking her morning nap so she was cranky by 12:30 so we headed home.
