Sofia's First Haircut

Today we took Sofia to get her first haircut - just a little off the top to make it more even. We went to a kids hair salong called L0llicut. The chairs look like racecars. It was very quick and Sofia didn't fuss at all.

Happy Father's Day

Today we had a very active and fun Father's Day. For some reason we didn't take too many photos though. The morning started with Nelson opening his presents (audi shirt and sweatshirt from me & Sofi and some new socks from Claudia & Sara). Then we headed off to swim lesson, but it was canceled. Some kid in the class before Sofi's did what you are not supposed to do in the pool (yuck!) and they had to close it to clean the whole pool (safety rules). So we headed to the park instead, then to Chili's for lunch. After Sofi and Mommy napped, we played outside and went swimming in the hot tub (which is now a cool 86 degrees). Hope everyone had a great Father's Day. My dad is out of town, so we will be BBQing with him next Saturday.

Disneyland - Trip #3

We decided to go to Disneyland to celebrate our 5th Anniversary and to hang out with our friends, The Lucas-Tinters. We also went to California Adventure. It was a warm day, and busy. I must be getting old because I don't know how people stay til closing, we left by 7pm! So much walking, and I'm pooped. Didn't help that Sofia only napped 30 minutes all day. She crashed as soon as we got in the car. But it was fun! One crazy part was somehow between 11:30 and noon Sofia lost one of her shoes. So after that point, there was no more walking around for her. Couldn't find any shoes her size in all of Disneyland to get her a new pair.

Here is the other chair we got from PB Kids - it's an outdoor Adirondack chair, for the deck. And it was on sale! I love that it says Sofia....and she loves climbing on it!
