Today we took Sofia for her 2 month doctor's appointment. She weighs 14 lbs 1 oz and is 23 3/4 inches long. She is in the 95 percentile for babies her age. The doctor was very happy with her overall health. She confirmed that her rash is seborrheic dermatitis (aka cradle cap - but that it can spread to the rest of the body too) and told us we can use a dandruff shampoo for her scalp and hydrocortisone cream for her face and body (very low dose, used sparingly). Though the olive oil I have been using for the past couple of days seems to be helping too.
Then came the bad part - the shots! She did cry but it wasn't as bad as I feared it would be, and she recovered pretty quickly. We were very proud of her! We just need to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't have any adverse reactions.
So far she seems fine - she is chillin' in her swing as I type this:
