Today we celebrated 4th of July a day early at D-land. Now that we have passes, we want to get our money's worth! Our plan was to leave at naptime and stay for fireworks. We left around 1pm and both girls took a short nap in the car, but we made great time so the nap lengths were not ideal. It was not very busy which was nice. It was hot, but not as hot as it had been projected. We went on some rides we didn't last time - Jungle Cruise, Winnie the Pooh - and others we had been on - Carousel and Small World. Met Winnie the Pooh & friends. Ran around Toon Town. Had a few treats but split them 3 ways :) fritters & ice cream! Had yummy BBQ at the Big Thunder Ranch (never did that before) Bought Sofia a cute Minnie cap. Discovered she is a klepto - she took a large Minnie Mouse from the store you have to walk thru to exit Small World. Didn't notice it til we got to the stroller. I walked her back there to return it, and on the way back she grabbed a princess barbie, again didn't notice it until we had left and had to go back. Ha!
We got some more family pix taken by the photographers there, and I just ordered the CD will all the pics from last time (and I added some cute borders and things too) So as soon as I get those I will post the best ones. I've seen them all online, they are fantastic!
But we were pooped by 8pm, and as soon as we heard the fireworks would be at 9:30pm not 9pm as we had thought, we decided to head home. Girls were asleep in the car in minutes.
