Disneyland Day #2

Today we had a FULL day at Disneyland! We got to the park around 8:45am and took some pictures at the front and by the castle (below are pics from our camera - we are also buying the CD of the professional pics which I'll post when we receive). Most of the time we traded off going on rides with Sofia. We rode on Dumbo, the carousel, storybook, tea cups and Autopia, then we saw the non-ride version of Nemo (basically you go in a small room and they show you a video of what you see underwater) because we weren't sure if she'd like the submarine. We had lunch at Downtown Disney, then we took a family nap (awesome). Then we headed to California Adventure and rode the new Ariel ride twice, rode the aquatic themed carousel with Harrison and his family (Gabby rode too! Her first ride!), then we had a nice dinner at Ariel's Grotto which got us passes to the World of Color for later that night. Then we met up with Harrison and his folks again, they ran around like crazy kids (Karri got some good pics which I'll post later) and went to ride Small World while I fed Gabby, then we went to the World of Color show. Sofia got to try two fun new treats - my personal favorite in all of Disneyland -- the fritters (I had run over to New Orleans Square by Pirates to get them) and Popcorn, which she's never had before. The show was cool, a little loud, some of the projections on the water were not as crisp as they would be on a screen so I think that Sofia couldn't tell what some of the images were. She also hasn't seen all that many movies yet. We left a few minutes early to head back to the hotel because we were beat! But Nel had a chance to run out with a few Fast Passes and ride the new Star Tours 3D twice. He also picked up some Star Wars figurines for Sofia. Both girls slept solid through the night.
PS Almost forgot to mention that today is our 6th Wedding Anniversary!!!
