Strawberry Festival 2011

Today we went to the Strawberry Festival in Oxnard with the Grays. It was somewhat fun, somewhat crazy, and seriously crowded! We got there fairly early and it wasn't that crowded yet, but Gabby was super fussy right away and basically refused to eat in their "nursing station" which was a cheesy little tent with a fold out chair in it. I think the noise, people, smoke from the BBQ tents, and the music was overstimulating to her. We finally got her to go to sleep for a bit, and Sofia rode her first carnival rides - the spinning strawberry (which she loved and made us spin faster and faster) and the choo choo train. OG and Sasha were taking turns looking out for Sofi, it was very sweet. We had strawberry shortcake and chicken skewers for lunch. Gabby woke up and started to get fussy again so we decided to head home, by this time it was packed!! Wall to wall people. Luckily both girls napped on the way home - ah nothing like a silent car ride :) Sofia said "I no sleeping mama" and two second later she was out. Still had the grouchy look on her face as you can see from the last pic!
